Neurowear, how to expose the stupidity to the world!

Hello!

I've been thinking about alternative ways of communication with the computer and I've encountered something they call "Neurowear". It's simply pair of stuffed cat ears known from Chinese cartoons. They say that they are moving according to user's feelings, but oh crap. Just watch the promotional video:

So, what's the trick? The trick is to cheat and make it move on a random basis, or to waste the technology for stupid toys! If it's actually working, then I would make some kind of controller, or TV remote controller, but not that?

What's next? They'll make engines powered by water and use them in hair dryers? Come on.

  1. I think these white and pink ears are great. I can see a future with us wearing then for communication purposes. And you hardly notice them stuck on your head like that. A great fashion add on.

  4. Well maybe this is the first step to mind controlled computers. As for the ears, anime clubs will order boxes for their annoying members to wear around campus.

  5. Looks Japanese to me. Fun products, low overhead, (pardon the pun :D) this will inspire kids to build mega hentai bikini robots for the future!

  8. Its interesting that these things move via brain command but its kinda lame. And useless, but it sure as hell can have more applications than that

  9. You're right, realistically they probably just move randomly, if the technology was actually good they would make something more meaningful with it wouldn't they?
