The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time is awesome game. It reminds me my childhood, when I used to play it along with my friend. This brings back memories of good times. Of course it's not retro and can't compete with Tetris or Mario in popularity, but for sure for some of us it is more valuable then most games in the industry.
The plot was very impressive, graphics (for the times of course) outstanding, gameplay graded even more. The perfect game.
Well.. The image is self explanatory... but maybe you have other thoughts? What games do you consider the best from your childhood?
The picture is an understandment Ocarina of time is _the_ Zelda game
ReplyDeleteAnd zelda, is a GREAT game!
ReplyDeleteFinal Fantasy 7. I've never been as carried away by any game since.

ReplyDeleteGreat game!! still have it and play it every once in a while when i need something to do for awhile
ReplyDeleteI've never actually played that game, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.
ReplyDeleteBest from my childhood?
ReplyDeleteCommand & Conquer will always hold a place in my heart, alongside Baldur's Gate.
That said, Zelda! Perfection.
The Legend of Zelda owns this (my fav.). Zelda II was epic and so was Zelda III. Most people would state Zelda III as being the best of all time.

Whenever you bring up Zelda there is nostalgia involved, and the only thing you can do is enjoy it! Cool post, I look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteWhile this game does indeed have some MASSIVE nostalgia sentiment, my all time favorite nostalgia game is Final Fantasy VIII. I love that game... I played VIII, when I was in middleschool, and I hated the crappy school I was in. So that fact that FFVIII took place in Balamb Gardens, really made me baww for a life like Squalls. I should break out my copy and play..
ReplyDelete@The Wired: You are me. I consider Final Fantasy VIII as the best game I've played. I didn't want to bring a post with it so early in my blog life.
