REMEMBER MY ENTRY ABOUT GMAIL MOTION? WELL IT SEEMS THAT IT BECAME REAL THING. I AM IN SHOCK AND I DON'T HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT.
LET'S MAKE IT SHORT AND TAKE IT IN TWO STEPS
- WATCH THE VIDEO
- TAKE YOUR JAW FROM THE GROUND
THEY'VE MADE REAL GMAIL MOTION, IT'S IN EARLY BETA BUT MAN! I AM SURE THEY ARE WORKING FOR GOOGLE FROM NOW ON!

@BTN Hip Hop
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't have to be useful as long as it's awesome :P
Simply incredible. Great response dude, things don´t have to be always useful.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, i saw this on Engadget. Nice.
ReplyDeletewow thats pretty sweet
ReplyDeletethat's pretty incredible
ReplyDeleteBlah. I've got a feedback from my friends that CAPS LOCK entry doesn't look good. However I really enjoyed writing it in this way ;) You should give it a try guys.
ReplyDeleteI felt like you were shouting at me, it was awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnyway though, while this is in itself pretty useless, it's encourage use of pretty good software which will undoubtedly lead to great things for technology, good post!
Haha oh man, that actually works a lot better than I thought it would.
ReplyDeletethis is pretty neato. i regret not buying the kinect
ReplyDeleteSounds rather silly, though admittedly it could be going in the direction of virtual reality.
ReplyDeleteNow that would be fun.
IT WAS BOUND TO HAPPEN.
ReplyDeleteI HOWEVER WELCOME THE SINGULARITY THAT WILL CLAIM THE SUM OF OUR CONSCOUSNESS.

ReplyDeleteThis has absolutely no use but it is a huge way forward for things that might actually be useful.
ReplyDeleteHe...He... so lame
ReplyDeletewow how
ReplyDeleteuseless
One time I used caps lock on a forum and was instabanned, true story. Also, I saw this on kotaku and I must say that I am very jealous of these tech dudes who can pull off shit like this so quickly. I am a budding programmer and I fear I will never reach their level...
ReplyDeletei'll just say WOW !
ReplyDeleteDang!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome.
I wanna play :)
Oh Google, you and your crazy ideas
ReplyDelete*wags finger
Great post! Keep up the good blogging!
ReplyDeleteThats awesome, but I still think motion controls are stupid, theyre just not efficient.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool, i assume everything will be like this someday.
ReplyDeleteLOL never have to use the mouse and keyboard ever again!
ReplyDeletehe could lose so more of that movement :D
ReplyDeletewooooooow I want this now!
ReplyDeletehmmm this looks really interesting..i cant wait till they develop it some more.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAH the dude waving out EPIC, and i agree its a great leap towards change and innovation but its still far away from an intuitive control so minority report window manipulation is still a few years ahead of us.
ReplyDeleteHaha, and to think that this all started as an April Fool's joke.
ReplyDeletelooks cool, but it will be a looooong time before this is put to use...maybe. :)
ReplyDeletewow nuts

ReplyDeleteExcellent post man! Was a really interesting read! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelol cant believe someone made this real
ReplyDeletelol....really?
ReplyDeletemind blown.
ReplyDeleteI think that's a pretty stupid idea, but i guess it's cool to make a joke in to a real thing :D
ReplyDeletewow that's crazy. but i think i'm a lot faster with a mouse than moving my whole body.
ReplyDeletecould be useful for a paraplegic.
ReplyDeleteInteresting
ReplyDeleteNah I don't like to use my body as an input device. Never liked the idea.
ReplyDeletei want something i can put on my head, and be IN the game
ReplyDeleteI used to play Mech Warrior at the arcade inside one of those VR deals. If I had the money I'd convert my living room to a VR setup. Some people dont know it yet, but there are several VR items available on the market. There are even 3D solutions for the home that don't require active shutter lenses. Sure they cost $10,000, but how many people wer lined up paying $15,000 for a new TV when HD sets first came out?
ReplyDelete~H. Coct
@Half Coct: Mech Warrior in VR? That sounds amazing! Also that Kinect hack looks pretty cool
ReplyDeleteCool, even though it would take you forever to write anything lol
ReplyDeletethats freakin wicked! technology these days is just INSANE
ReplyDeleteinteresting though impractical.
